World Wide Release Mandela Biography to Co-Incide with 20th Anniversary
24 November 2009
World Wide Entertainment have launched a one hour unauthorized biography on Nelson Mandela to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his release from prison.
The 11th of February 2010 marks Mandela’s release after twenty seven years of imprisonment.
Mandela campaigned to end Apartheid, and upon his release helped lead the movement towards making South Africa a multi-racial democracy, in the process becoming South Africa’s first president in the post-Apartheid era.
World Wide Entertainment Creative Director Marilyn Higgins says, “If there is a story to be told that inspires the world, it is Nelson Mandela’s. His is a life worth living.”
“One Man: An Unauthorized biography on Nelson Mandela” follows Mandela’s journey from youth to his involvement in the African National Congress, his imprisonment, and his later work as a respected statesman and Nobel Laureate.
